Yacht Charter Bodrum — Price Ranges at a Glance
Most popular range: €6,000–15,000 per week for a comfortable 8–12 guest charter, all-inclusive.
What Determines Your Charter Price?
1. Yacht Type & Size
Sailing yacht (most affordable) → Gulet (best group value) → Catamaran (premium) → Motor yacht (high-end). More cabins = higher price, but a lower per-person cost.
2. Charter Season
- High Season (July–August): Peak prices. Book 6–9 months ahead.
- Mid Season (June, September): ~20% less. Best value.
- Low Season (May, October): 30–40% less.
3. Charter Duration
Standard: 1 week Saturday to Saturday. Two-week bookings often attract 10–15% discount. Short charters (3–5 days) available in low season at a slightly higher daily rate.
4. Crewed vs Bareboat
Crewed: Higher base price but includes everything — captain, chef, all meals, fuel, water sports. Bareboat: Lower base but you pay separately for crew, food, fuel and extras. For non-sailors, crewed almost always represents better value.
5. Yacht Age & Specification
Newer yachts with air conditioning, Starlink, and premium water toys cost more. Older but well-maintained yachts offer excellent value without compromising safety.

Real Per-Person Cost Examples
Couple on Sailing Yacht (June): Yacht €3,000/week ÷ 2 = €1,500/person for 7 nights (€214/day). Compare with a comparable boutique hotel + restaurant meals + transport — yacht charter is often better value.
Family of 6 on Catamaran (September): Yacht €6,000/week ÷ 6 = €1,000/person for 7 nights (€143/day). Includes: accommodation, all meals, crew, water toys.
Group of 10 on Classic Gulet (August): Yacht €9,000/week ÷ 10 = €900/person for 7 nights (€128/day). Includes: luxury cabin accommodation, all meals, professional crew.
How to Save on Your Bodrum Charter
Book Early: Secure your preferred yacht 6–9 months ahead for high season — early booking often means better rates and full availability.
Choose Shoulder Season: June or September offers the same perfect Aegean weather as August, but prices are 20–30% lower and anchorages are significantly less crowded.
Larger Groups: The per-person cost decreases dramatically with group size. A gulet for 12 guests at €10,000/week = €833/person. Much more economical than smaller yachts.
Two-Week Bookings: Many yacht owners offer 10–15% discounts on 14-night bookings — excellent value if you have the time.
BYOB: Alcohol is the biggest variable extra cost. Stock up at Bodrum's well-priced supermarkets or the airport duty-free.
